National Service Scheme :
The NSS (National Service Scheme) is an Indian government sponsored public service program conducted by the ministry of youth affairs and sports of the govt. of India popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s century year in 1969.
Aim of NSS – Developing students personality through community service
Full form – National service scheme volunteer association of young people indulges in various activities which will help them in learning the ground reality of the society and working for its common welfare.
Motto – Not me but you. It focuses on the identification of the need and problem of the community and involves them in the process of problem solving.
